Review of Boater's Grill

About.com Rating 3.5

The Bottom Line
Boater's Grill offers fresh seafood and latin cuisine in a beautiful outdoor setting. The prices are a bit steep for such casual dining, but the price may be worth it for the natural location and views of No Name Harbor.

Guide Review - Review of Boater's Grill
Boater's Grill is located inside of Bill Baggs State Park, at the very Southern tip of the island of Key Biscayne. It is one of two dining spots in the park, and definitely the nicer of the two. It is housed in a raised wooden building, overlooking No Name Harbor. The seating, atmosphere, and dress is very casual and basic. The food is very fresh and tasty, with a selection of seafood, cuban and latin cuisine.

The food is only a little better than the usual Cuban/Seafood places, like La Carreta, but the prices are higher. The only reason to choose Boater's Grill instead is for the location. The seating is covered yet outdoors, with the greenery of the park on one side and the harbor on the other. So you are paying more for the natural atmosphere, which is certainly more appealing than a bland restaurant.
