Guide Review - Review of The Setai Miami Beach
The rooms at this ultra-luxurious boutique hotel in South Beach have every amenity you can imagine – king-size beds, plasma TV screens, espresso machine, surround-sound CD and DVD system, rainfall shower – and more. All rooms have wireless Internet access. The hotel is actually spread through two buildings – the Art Deco building has studios and junior suites, and the Tower has 1- and 2-bedroom suites, and also a few extra-large suites and a penthouse.

The Asian-influenced décor is truly stunning – with teak walls, authentic jade decorations, crisp white linens, wood floors, and subdued lighting. The larger suites have a beautiful and spacious sitting area, a full kitchen, and a Jacuzzi.

The luxuries don’t stop when you step outdoors. Three pools are set at different temperatures, and gorgeous cabanas are spread throughout tropical gardens and flowing fountains. A full-service spa offers treatments on-site or in your room. The fitness center has a wide range of new equipment, and you can also schedule sessions for personal training, yoga, or pilates.

The hotel has a choice of two restaurants – an upscale Asian restaurant, and a more casual grill. There is also a wonderful pool-side bar serving drinks and Mediterranean dishes.

I was very, very impressed with this hotel. But what is the catch – you say? That would be the price. Expect to pay upwards of $500 per night for a Studio during the off-peak season, and about double that during the peak season. Two-bedroom suites are around $3000 per night, the penthouse is $30,000 per night.
