Description
Guide Review - Review of Mario The Baker
Mario’s has been around for a long time – the original location in North Miami opened in 1969. Since then they have grown to seven locations (some are sit-down restaurants and some are take-out only.) It is easy to understand the popularity of this place. The pizza and pasta are very fresh and tasty, and the garlic rolls are loaded with olive oil and garlic! And the price can’t be beat.

I have been a loyal patron of Mario’s for over 10 years. In college I went at least once per week to the North Miami location, which at 6 pm always had lines of early-bird retirees going out the door. Now I go the Bird Road location, which is less populated, but still has the same simple but delicious food at low prices. I love the baked cheese ravioli, my husband loves the meat lasagna, and my kids can’t get enough of the cheese pizza. We all fight over the last garlic roll – they are the best!

Mario’s has a very casual and family-friendly atmosphere, so kids of any age will be welcome.
