Guide Review - Review of Cioppino
Cioppino is located in the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Key Biscayne, and it lives up to the expectation of an upscale dining experience. The place is beautiful - with elegant place settings, bright white linens, and shiny polished wood furniture. The outdoor terrace is more relaxed, but equally beautiful. The Tuscan cuisine is simple yet excellent, though portion sizes are on the small side.
It is a great place to go for breakfast or Sunday brunch, where you can enjoy the buffet and sit at a covered table on the patio outdoors. Lounge on the gleaming white cushioned chairs or wicker couches and be surrounded by beauty and nature - from palm trees and pools to little birds and blue-green lizards scampering about.
The service can be great or not-so-good, depending on who you get. My server was Placido - and he was the best. I made the most of my visit, and lounged around for hours with my friends. That made the high price worth it for us.
