Hailing a Taxi at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport
Taxis are always available on the lower level outside of each baggage claim area. Just check in at the Transportation Podium and the attendant can help you out. This airport is not as large or busy as Miami's airport, so you should have no problems getting a cab quickly.
About Fares and Tips:
- There are standardized taxi rates, so all taxis will charge you the same amount for your trip.
- Fares do not include a tip, plan to give around 15%.
- If you are a family of 5-6 people, ask the Transportation attendant about finding a large taxi like a mini-van.
