Located in Key Biscayne, Miami Seaquarium is the most convenient place for a dolphin swim if you are staying in Miami. The Dolphin Odyssey is a 30-minute encounter in shallow water, plus the opportunity for a deep-water interaction with a dolphin. Participants must be 4 feet, 4 inches tall.
The Dolphin Encounter is a 30-minute encounter in shallow water only. Participants must be at least 5 years old.

The Structured Dolphin Swim Programs are open to participants age 7 and up. Participants must be able to swim, but they will be wearing a flotation device. A trainer guides each participant in touching and interacting one-on-one with a trained dolphin.
The Natural Dolphin Swim Programs are for strong swimmers ages 8 and up. Participants wear snorkeling gear and swim with trained dolphins, but they can observe only and not touch. There are also Combo Programs for those who wish to participate in both types of encounters on the same day.
Dolphins Plus also offers a Trainer for a Day program, where you can shadow a dolphin trainer for a full day. Participants must be at least 10 years old.

With the Dolphin Wade Program, participants spend 20-30 minutes with dolphins in very shallow water. Participants must be at least 3 years old. The Swim With Dolphins Program allows participants age 5 and older to spend 20-30 minutes in the water with dolphins, including the opportunity to snorkel alongside them.
If you are not interested in getting wet, their Meet the Dolphin Program allows participants a 20-minute interaction from out of the water. Theatre of the Sea also offers Swim with Sea Lions and Swim with Rays programs.

With the Dolphin Encounter, participants age 5 and older can spend 20 minutes in the water with trained dolphins. With the Dolphin Splash, participants of any age can wade in with dolphins for 20 minutes. Children age 3 and under can enter if they are held in the arms of a parent. With the Dolphin Dip participants of any age can spend 20-25 minutes on a submerged platform and interact with dolphins. Children age 3 and under are free. With Play with the Dolphins, participants age 5 and up can meet a dolphin from outside of the water.
With Meet the Dolphin, participants age 3 and older can meet and touch a dolphin for a few minutes from outside of the water. With Paint with a Dolphin, participants age 3 and older can hold a t-shirt while a dolphin paints it. Dolphin Research Center also has Trainer for a Day and Researcher for a Day programs.
