Volunteer to Help Others
There are many organizations that prepare and serve meals to the less fortunate on Thanksgiving Day. Of course, this is also a popular day for people to volunteer, so many groups get booked up months in advance. If you can't find a place to volunteer on Thanksgiving, use this time to sign up for other opportunities to help on less popular days of the year. Hands On Miami is a great place to check with.

Miami Turkey Trot
Come out Thanksgiving morning to run and burn off calories before your Thanksgiving dinner. Races include a 5K, 10K, and Kid's Run. Pre-registration is required.

The Annual Winternational Thanksgiving Day Parade and Festival
This annual parade and festival is hosted by the City of North Miami. It taking place in the morning on Thanksgiving Day in Downtown North Miami (between N.E. 5th & N.E. 12th Avenues).

White Party
