Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
This amazing garden is dedicated to explaining and conserving the world of tropical plants. It has the world’s greatest living collection of palms, and works constantly to teach children and other visitors about these plants.
This National Historic Landmark is the centerpiece of Coral Gables, and began as a popular destination for celebrities as well as royalty. Take a tour of the childhood home of George Merrick, who founded and developed The City Beautiful. Includes a museum about the history of the Merrick family, and South Florida.
The Lowe Art Museum is located on the campus of the University of Miami. Its collection features diverse art spanning 5,000 years of art history.
A pretty park with a marina, nature trails, and a man-made beach. You can also dine at the Red Fish Grill, where a scene from "There's Something About Mary" was filmed.
World-class Golf Courses
Both the Granada Golf Course, and the Biltmore Golf Course are great choices if you want to take a few swings.
