Located in bustling Mary Brickell Village, Fado has a large space where you can enjoy a (semi-quiet) table, or sit near a TV to watch a game. It's open until 2 am on most nights, and until 4 am as you get closer to the weekend. With the dance floor, lights, and rockin' music, it turns into something more like a dance club after 10 pm. The service here is much better than average, regardless of how busy they get.

John Martin's Irish Pub & Restaurant

This Coral Gables landmark is always hopping, with everyone from singles to large families coming to enjoy the Irish and English cuisine. They offer both a full pub and a dining room, and serve lunch, dinner, and a Sunday brunch. Happy hours take place daily, and sometimes more than once per day. Besides sports events on TV, there are also plenty of fun events including karaoke on Wednesdays, an Irish Sing Along on Saturdays, and live music acts on weekends.

This popular South Beach spot is open for lunch, dinner, or waaaaaay past dinner. In fact, they're open every day until 5 am. They have Happy Hour on weekdays, and Live DJs on weekends.  There is also a second location at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. The Playwright is listed as one of the Best Dive Bars in Miami Beach.

The Irish Times Pub & Eatery

As South Miami's only Irish pub, Irish Times is a favorite hangout for University of Miami students. No wonder it's also a good place to watch Hurricanes games, as well as NFL games. The drink and food menus offer many great choices, including an all-day breakfast. Don't miss the daily happy hour, and Ladies' Night on Wednesdays. Open until 5 am daily.

Waxy O'Connors

Waxy's has 3 locations in South Florida - in Fort Lauderdale, South Beach, and also a very cool spot along the Miami River in Downtown Miami. They've got the typical Irish favorites, plus some more Americanized fare. And of course, a full bar. Different locations offer different events such as Ladies' Night, Karaoke, Blues Brunch, Live Reggae, Poker, and more.
