About the Historical Museum of Southern Florida:
The museum's permanent exhibit Tropical Dreams: A People's History of South Florida explores South Florida history from prehistoric times to the present. They also have several temporary exhibitions going on at any time, focusing on the history, cultures, folklife and archaeology of South Florida and the Caribbean.

I highly recommend the guided tours offered by HMSF. These tours cover a wide range of interests, from the most well-known spots and people to the lesser-known. Tour types include Coach Tours, Eco Coach Tours, Boat Tours, Walking Tours, and Eco Walks.
